1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CompIQ ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, free users, and paid subscribers.

2. Description of Service

CompIQ is an AI-powered comparable sales analysis tool for real estate professionals. The Service generates comp reports, value estimates, and supporting materials based on data you provide. CompIQ is a decision-support tool — outputs are estimates, not appraisals, and should be reviewed by a qualified professional before use with clients.

3. Account Registration

You may use the Service anonymously for one free report. To access additional features and reports, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

4. Paid Plans & Billing

CompIQ offers pay-per-report ($15/report) and monthly subscription plans ($59/month Agent, $199/month Team). Subscriptions are billed monthly and auto-renew until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial months. All payments are processed by Stripe.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of real estate regulations
Resell or redistribute CompIQ outputs without authorization
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate access to the Service
Share account credentials with others
Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent property data
Use the Service to generate outputs you represent as official appraisals

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. CompIQ does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose of the comp reports generated. Value estimates are AI-generated approximations, not licensed appraisals. Do not represent CompIQ outputs to clients as official valuations or appraisals.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CompIQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost profits, lost listings, or client disputes. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Intellectual Property

CompIQ and its underlying technology, branding, and code are proprietary. The reports you generate using the Service are yours — you may use them with your clients. You retain ownership of any agent profile content (logo, headshot, branding) you upload.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, chargebacks, or abuse of the free tier. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@runcompiq.com.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Denver County, Colorado.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. We'll notify you by email of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
